So sorry for your loss. Sorry I can’t be there but my thoughts and prayers are with you. I love you all.
I’ll never forget her working in her flowers and the rock house- Passing her while driving out Garren Creek Rd-Her kindness and loving nature as a youth growing up here is one of the many reasons I love calling this home- I remember one time in particular she gave me a PB sandwich and some water- I must have been playing hard that day– I’m praying for y’all and rejoice with you as well!! One sweet day– We’re all gonna be reunited!
Ecclesiastes 9:5 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.
So sorry for your loss. Your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.
It was a blessing to have known Mary. Such a gentle, kindhearted lady. Prayers to the family. You were all blessed to have had her in your lives. I’m sure you have lots of good stories to share. God bless you all.
So sorry to hear about your dear mother. But I know the angels are singing. We should rejoice to know that she is in Gods presents, but our human nature will. Be to morn her presents from us. We will be praying that the Lord will give you comfort at this time.
Our deepest sympathy to the family. Mary leaves such a Godly heritage to her family and to all that knew her. She touched the lives of so many during her life. It is our hope to see Mary again one day.
One of the great privileges I have had was the opportunity to pastor this dear saint for the 7 years I served at the Asheville PH Church. Words can never express the blessing she was to me as a pastor & to Sherrill as a pastors wife. We will be eternally grateful for the privilege to walk with Miss Mary on a part of her journey toward home. May God bless her memory !!!
Mary, you and your family are in our prayers. I admire you and the love showed to you mom. Love you.
I will never forget the kindness and love she.extended to me, Donna, and our three children.. The impact she has made on all of our lives is truly immeasurable. She had such wisdom, patience, and grace in the way she treated all people, even strangers, and always enjoyed sharing her amazing faith in God with others. Heaven is rejoicing this day. What a Saint!

Such a life well lived, from the same generation of my dear parents, Blaine Blankenship and Francis Huntley. I went to school with several Lytles and Taylors at Reynolds and they were all good friends. May Mrs. Lytle have eternal peace. She left her mark.

There are no words when the heart hurts so much because it loved so deeply~There are some people who come into your life and can never be forgotten~ Ms. Mary is one of those~ her spirit so beautiful for it always glows in her smile, her words, the work of her hands~ How I have cherished the pink bunny quilt she made for Alexandria~ She carried with her such a love for her Heavenly Father that she made sure you got a glimpse of Him through her genuine kindnesses and love~ A sweet and precious soul that has touched so many~
With our deepest sympathy and prayers lifted for much comfort in the days ahead~
Ms. Mary was one of the most amazing, godly women we have ever met. She loved and served Jesus with all her heart and it showed! I know Ms. Mary is rejoicing around the throne of Jesus. May the Lord comfort you all!
Much love and many prayers!
My thoughts and prayers are with your family.
Mary,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May our Lord and Savior put His loving arms around you and your family to comfort you and give you strength during this time and in the days ahead.
To all the family: Alvarati Taylor and Lori Patton here….we planned to attend the service when we heard news. Please forgive our absence but we only received the news of Mary’s passing this evening. We have wonderful memories of many of you and the many family reunions over the years. Alvarati will be 88 soon so our Taylor clan is dwindling. We want you to know of our prayers and we send love to all. If you are in Black Mountain please come to Taylor Street and visit us.
Wow! What a Mom to have in your life….SuperMom for sure! So glad to work with her daughter Mary and occasionally another daughter, Agnes,(who gave an awesome eulogy at the service). What a family! I know your Mom will be missed after 98 years on earth touching lives across the world. And even at her funeral, her spirit of touching and reaching out to people in so many ways was felt as God comforted us all! God bless you and comfort you and fill the void and dry the tears and put smiles on your face at the thought of Mrs. MaryTaylor!! ‘Well Done Thou Good And Faithful Servant!’
James and Margaret. I only found out late today of Mary’s passing. My sincerest condolences to all of her extended family. I was always relieved to see her sitting in the congregation at church (Family of Faith Fellowship) because then I knew the Rapture hadn’t come yet and that I hadn’t been ‘left behind’. May the grace of the Lord be with you all.
David
