Ed, John and Sherri:
We were so shocked and saddened to learn of the passing of Till. We hold fond memories of her and the family from your years in Haywood County. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult of times. Rest in peace dear friend.
I had the privelege of being Mrs. Israel’s student in the 1985/86 school year. She was kind and patient and cared about her students. I remember especially her sweet smile. My prayers are with her family.
I remember Till at the Book & Plate Club meetings where she was a spirited member and great money-raiser for our projects through the pecan sales. Will miss her bright presence at the meetings. My sincere condolences to her family.
We are so sorry for your loss. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Your friends from the Asheville Regional Office/Department of Environment & Natural Resources

Dear Ed, I didn’t know about Till until last week. Gail Noland told me. I’m so sorry. I’m thinking of you often and hope you will be okay. If there is anything I can do, let me know. I’m still at DSS -would you believe!!! But I can say this … you were the best ‘boss’ I’ve had in 31 years. May God bless you and your family through this hard time.
