When I read Aunt Maude’s obituary and saw her picture, I was reminded how much she and my mother were alike. How very sad they spend their last years in similiar circumstances, but, again, how wonderful they had loving families caring for them until the end. I remember Aunt Maude coming to Mom & Dad’s 50th wedding anniversay party, and my mother spent the afternoon holding hands with her twin sister. Perhaps the visits were few, but how they loved each other. Today, I am thinking of both of them, and knowing they probably are again holding hands. Blessings on you, Nancy, Rod, Ben and Ruth. You are in my heart this day.

Nancy, I’m sorry to hear of your mother’s death. It is never easy to lose a parent. My mother was in a rest/nursing home for several years befoe her death but I knew she was there for me and loved me. It was hard to lose her. I imagine you will have similar feelings.
May you have only good memories of your time together.

Dear Nancy,
I was so sorry to hear that your Mother had passed away. How fortunate you were to have had her for so many years. I remember visiting your home on Olivette Road when we were in school. I think I have some pictures made there.

I realize you do not know who I am, but I just read the Obituaries in the paper and I wanted to sign the on-line register. Several years ago, I took my clinical at The Baptist Home (where I attended school at A-B Tech) Working with Maude Gosnell, I got so attached to her. I loved spending time with her, feeding her and just letting her talk. She was a very sweet lady. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.
Rodney, our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family during this sad time. Lean on God and let Him give you the comfort and Peace during this loss. Sincerely,
Ruth and Ben will remember the Houser name from our days on Jonestown Rd. The Housers and the Joneses were prominent families back then. I remember all of the Jones family and like ours, it has grown smaller through the years. The three youngest are all that is left of our family–Jeanette, Charlotte and me. I am sorry to hear that Maude has died. I remember her as a very quiet and sweet person. She has lived a long life and I know all of you will miss her. We send our deepest to you all.
Nancy and Rodney,
I was sorry to hear that Aunt Maude had passed away. It has been so many years since I visited you all, as a young boy, with my Mom, Aunt Clota, Grandma Gosnell, Bob, and Sandy. I really enjoyed those visits. Your Mother was a sweet lady.
May God Bless and comfort you all, as only He is able.
Your cousin,
Jim Capps & Family
