Melba was loved very much by all our family. She played for our small quartet to sing as well as played for us at church. Even in flowers, she was just a special friend. She will be missed.

Phillip,
Just wanted to tell you how sorry I am. I loved your mom and dad very much. I regret not being able to see her but know my thoughts and prayers are with you, Monty, Bill and the girls. We are going to have to make it a point to get all the family together. Life is just way to short. I am so sorry I can’t be there in person but know that I’m there in heart.
Much Love to you.

To the Dunlop family,
Melba gained my admiration when I first heard her music. So soothing to the soul. Thanks Melba for the memories of yesterday.

Like the flowers that she filled her life with, Melba was filled with A beauty for all to see and enjoy. She was full of life and in constant bloom, and she always had others on her mind and in her heart. She proved that you don’t have to save people’s lives , end world hunger, or even leave Henderson county to walk in the light of Jesus Christ. With every flower she encluded something that money cannot buy…love. She bore his fruit and fed all those around her, and now her spirit grows in the garden of the lord.We love you Melba, May you rest in peace.
Philip,
I wanted you to know that I am thinking of you and that you are in my prayers.
Sorry to hear of Melba’s passing. I always enjoyed talking with her at the flower shop and seeing her at Fletcher FB when I went there. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.
My sincere condolences to your family
I will continue praying that you might find strength and comfort through this very hard time.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
My Deepest sympathy…
