  3. My heart hurts for Barbara at the loss of this good man. Melvin was my substitute father after my own passed many years ago. I will miss his humor, his kindness and his strength. Melvin impacted my life in a multitude of ways, not least of which is being the loving father of my partner for life Martha Morton Israel. All my love and condolences to Barbara, Becky and Eddie.

  4. Hey papaw,
I will miss you and all the times that we had together. We have a lot of fun and exciting memories together that I will cherish forever. Thank you for all you did for the family. I will take good care of mamaw and be there by her side. Each day I will not forget you and talk to you. Not only are you a man of God but a family man. I love you and forever will miss you.

    Love,
    Jordi
