Michelle Elizabeth Straub Wilensky, 52, passed away September 26, 2018.
Michelle is survived by her husband, Adam, and their children, Alexandra and Ethan, of Asheville, NC; her parents, John and Patricia Straub, of Hattiesburg, MS; her sisters and brothers, Maria Straub, of Los Angeles, CA, John Straub, Jr., and Joe Straub, of Frisco, TX, and Debbie Pegany, of Austin, TX; her brother-in-law, Peter Wilensky, of Denver, CO; and a large extended family and circle of wonderful friends.
Michelle was a dedicated, loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister. She will be missed by all those who knew her.
She was a beautiful free spirit and a bright, shining light with a lot of love and life in her. She will forever be in our hearts.
There will be a memorial celebration of Michelle’s life at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, and educational fund is being set up for the children.
Groce Funeral Home, Asheville, NC is assisting the family.
To the family of the most wonderful Michelle. Myself and Paul are so sorry for your huge loss. I worked with Michelle for several years and she was a joy to be around. We had a lot of fun ! Such a golden girl, inside and out and most definitely one of the best people I have ever known. I am heartbroken and cannot believe her magical spirit has left us.
