Mildred Medford Robinson

Mildred Medford Robinson, 82, of 616 Pole Creasman Road, Asheville, died Saturday, June 1, 2002, at her home. Mrs. Robinson was born in Buncombe County and was a daughter of the late Talmadge and Bertie S. Medford. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Earl and Clarence Medford. She was a former employee of Bon Marche Department Store and of Kiddie’s Band Box. She was a member of West Asheville Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, James G. Robinson; one daughter, Suzanne Robinson of Asheville, and one sister, Ruth M. Moore of Candler. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Tuesday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Ken Lewis officiating. Burial will be at Pisgah View Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends from 7 - 8:30 pm Monday at the funeral home and again 30 minutes prior to the service Tuesday.
