Mildred R. Fraser

Mildred Robinson Fraser, 77, died Wednesday, December 3, 2014, at the John F. Keever Solace Center.

Mrs. Fraser was born in Yancey County and was a daughter of Clara Rathburn Robinson and the late Leland Robinson. She was also preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Grant Fraser and by sisters, Louise and Bernice and brother, William. She had lived in Buncombe County for most of her life and had retired from WalMart.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughter, Lynn Aly and husband, Scott; sisters, Mary Fowler and Judy DiCarlo; and brother, Alfred Robinson and wife Donna.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Kent officiating. Interment will follow at Paint Gap Baptist Church Cemetery, Madison County.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
