Nearly14 year ago when my Dad died, Morgan told me ‘I’ve just lost my best friend’ I can say with confidence that he met him again yesterday. Uncle Morgan was such a fine example of a man. He will be missed by his family , friends and the community. I pray that God comforts the family as only He can. I love you Uncle Morgan.
Please know that your family is in my thoughts and prayers.
This is so sad, have thought of him often. Dwight’s Feed service,Dwight Crumpler, delivered feed to the dairy. Prayers to the family.
In the days when you could get milk directly from the dairy, Morgan provided whole milk for my classroom at Fairview Elementary so the kids could make butter.
He was a great advocate for the farmer through NC Farm Bureau.
If you ever wanted to hear a story of how things were in the good ol’ days, ask Morgan, a fun man to know with a great sense of humor. He and Ruth made a great team. Thoughts and prayers with the family at this time.
So sorry for your loss. Thinking about you all during this time.
Ruth you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

As a young ‘Yankee’ from Ohio back in 1985, Morgan and Ruth and the family took me in and made me feel like a part of their family. I was truly blessed to have had the opportunity to be with this man,and to be able to have a part in his work, his home, his family and his church. To share in his sweat, his laughter and his tears. His life made a great impact on me and my family and I will never forget his love for his God, his wife and family, his giving spirit, his southern charm and hospitality and most of all his heart warming laughter will be greatly missed by all who had the great blessing of knowing this man. I can only hope to leave such a legacy.
From my ‘Yankee’ family to yours, we are thinking and praying for Gods comfort and peace for you all. It is truly a great loss to all of us here on earth, but I am sure Morgan is back to his usual antics about now and that the good Lord just might have to assign an extra angel to keep an eye on him!
Ruth, Philip and Shirley—-I was sorry to hear about Morgan death…..Holding you in God’s light with our thoughts and prayers
