I remember when I was just a kid. I would always do my best to help my Nannie around her home when she lived on 34 Gerwood. And how she would always say when I came to visit that ‘Peace and quite is over with.’ I also remember how she would make the best pinto bean soup and homemade breads. She was the best cook in the world. And when she had finished preparing everything she would yell out ‘Soups on.’ God I miss you Nannie. I wish I were still your little grandson and I was enjoying life with you. Maybe when I reach heaven you can say once again ‘Peace and quite is over with.’
NANNY, I LOVE YOU AND WILL MISS YOU DEEPLY. I WILL TRY NOT TO WORRY ABOUT YOU BECAUSE I KNOW YOU’RE NOT ALONE. YOU WILL BE WITH PAPAW & UNCLE NATHAN. I LOVE YOU YOUR GRAND DAUGHTER LAURA
My Dearest Nanny,
