Nathaniel Wiley, 92, of Asheville, died on Wednesday, July 5, 2017.
Nathaniel was a son of the late Ada Allen. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his daughter, Mary Barnett; brother, Samuel Allen; grandson, Tennard Byrd; niece, Sandra; nephews, Michael and Stanley; and close friend, Gerald Robinson.
Mr. Wiley's family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave.
