Aunt Nelle was always so thoughtful and caring. Even though there was quite a distance between us, she never forgot about me. I’m sorry that I didn’t know that she was not doing well. I kind of lost contact with her when my Mamaw Thelma, her sister-in-law, was admitted to a nursing home. I haven’t been able to visit lately, and I was hoping she would be able to meet my two younger children, Dirk, 1, and Ella, born on Sept. 26, 2006. The last time Taji (my oldest) and I saw her was when he was about 3 yrs. old. He is now 7. I was looking forward to sending her an announcement of the birth of her newest neice, Ella. I always enjoyed sending her news about my family. I didn’t find out about her death until the day before I was admitted to the hospital for her birth. I’m deeply saddened by her death, but I know she is now, along with my Papaw Bill, among the angels in Heaven.
Fred:
My sincere sympathies to you and your family. You have been and will be in my thoughts and prayers.
Regards,
Trip Lawton
My deepest sympathy and prayers for you and your loss, as I know your hearts are broken. I am so sad. Nelle was my friend and buddy. We enjoyed doing things and always had fun in each others company. I loved her and will always miss her.

Nelle was a dear friend and will be
greatly missed. I will always remember her singing ‘O Holy Night’ at our annual Circle Christmas party.
