Nellie Guise Allday

Nellie Marie Guise Allday, 92, of Asheville, passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2014, at her residence. Born in Trumbull County, OH, to the late Harry F. and Mary Difford Guise, she worked as a secretary and was a member of Barefoot Bay Baptist Church in Florida and attended Groce United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Gordon L. Allday, and son, Dennis Gordon Allday. Survivors include her daughter, Carol A. Wolf, of Asheville and brother, Ernest Guise, of Cashiers. A funeral service will be held on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at Groce Funeral Home on Tunnel Road. Rev. Gerald Davis will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
