Guestbook

  1. All of us at H.B.’s will miss him and his wife dearly. We all have many fond memories and recall a lot of laughter. We send our sympathy and our prayers. Sheila

  2. Your parents were very special
    to both of us.
My husband is on the liver
transplant list at UNC Chapel Hill. We spoke about this often. Your Mother gave Gene an angel for Christmas from Buddy. This will be with him always. Love & Prayers Donna

  3. I will truly miss the Garners and Buddy & the nice talks we’ve had. They will greatly be missed. Sincerely, Trish H.B.’s

  4. ‘POP’ will be sorely missed by ALL of us, friends and family alike. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, and friend to all. Pop loved life so much but just could not seem to move on after he lost the love of his life…my dear grandmother. Like my Uncle Gary put it at the funeral…he probably died as much from a ‘broken heart’ as he did from a diseased heart. I just know that they are together again, probably dancing the nights away, happy to just be with each other once more. It is certainly hard for all of us left here to even imagine life without ‘Pop and Gago’ but we must all find comfort in knowing that we will all be reunited some day in God’s Kingdom. May we all find peace and joy in that. The last time I spoke to Pop before he died, he spoke some precious and final words to me…’I’ll see you in my dreams…’ This is what I would also like to say to you Pop…’I’ll see YOU in my dreams!’ I love you and I will miss you and Gago more than anyone can ever know.
All My Love and Gratitude Always, Your Granddaughter, Lisa

  5. Pop,
I’ll never forget the way you and Gago took me under your wing and accepted me as one of your own. You were the closest thing to a granddad I ever had. There is an empty space in my heart that will never be filled, however your empty space is overflowing now that you are with Gago again. Will see you again in Heaven.
    Love you and miss you,
    Lynn
