Otis was a very kind fellow. Our sympathy to Ginger and Heather.
My family and Ihave many fond memories of our time spent with Otis and Ginger. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Otis was a good person with a kind and gentle heart. He was a great friend and I loved him like a brother. My family and I owe him a lot from the way he took me in when I came to APAC in 1983 and back again in 1993. When my sons joined the Asheville Division a couple of years later he gave them the chance to grow and become respected in the construction industry. He told me numerous times how proud he was of them and it was one of the best decisions he had ever made. Thank you my friend and brother. We will miss you always. Ginger and Heather our thoughts are with you.

Ginger, what sweet memories we have of Otis. May God wrap his loving arms around you and Heather at this time. Martha and Bill Medcalf
Ginger,
I was very saddened by the loss of Otis. It came as a total shock and surprise, as you know. I considered him one of my best friends and held him in the highest esteem. He was extremely honest very dependable, and always concerned about the well being of others. In addition to a great friend I considered him to be the utmost example of a business executive that everyone should strive to emulate.
I am late in writing this, but wanted you to know what I thought of him. I also think that Heather did an outstanding job in delivering his eulogy.
With deepest sympathy,
Steve Whitmire
Otis, here we are over 7 years ago and you are still missed as much as you were then. There’s nothing we do as a family that you are not thought of and talked about and yes, most of the time with tears in our eyes. We still rejoice over all the happy memories we had growing up and although later we were miles apart we always kept you close in our hearts. Looking forward to that day when we will depart no more!! Loved and Never Forgotten
Your Sisters,
Shirlene, Sue, Ruby Jean, and Beverly
