  1. I was fortunate to meet Pat soon after starting to work in Cleveland County in the l980’s. The first time I met her she had a program with the Boiling Springs Extension Homemaker Club on iris. She invited me to her home to see her beautiful flowers and extended her warm hospitality to me many times after that. She was a lady who had many talents and who shared those talents. My life is richer because of her. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

  2. Dear Lee and Family,
I was so sorry to hear of your mother’s death. May God give you strength and grace and comfort for the coming days.
    In His Love,
    Gretchen

  3. I’m Brooks and Vernie Piercy’s granddaughter. As I’m sure you know, your mom and dad were dear friends of my Nana and Pa; they had so many good times together over the years after your parents moved back to Boiling Springs. You all will be in my thoughts and prayers. Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss.

  4. I was a student of your Mom’s for 2years, 5th and 6th grades, at Sheanghai Elementary School in the Crest Community. I remember it being her first years out of college. She ‘turned me on to reading,’ and I have enjoyed doing so all my life. I’m now 63 and I remember her like it was yesterday. Please know she will live on in the hearts of all of us who were fortunate to know her. She truly made a difference in my life. Vickie Bridges Wyatt

  5. Pat was a dear sweet lady and I am sure will be missed by all ! Deepest sympathy to all of the family!

  7. Lee & Lisa,
I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Lee’s Mother. I know it is not an easy time. Please know you are in my thoughts each day. May God’s peace fill your hearts as you go through this valley. One day we will no longer be seperated from our loved ones. Death will end and eternatiy will begin. What a glorious day that will be!! Till then, know you are loved and in my thoughts, prayers, and always in my heart. I treasure our memories.

  8. I hold a son’s love in my heart for Pat Beason. And a brother’s love for her sons (especially David). She was a teacher in every way. She and her family embraced me and made me better. In one moment in time she single handedly opened a door to show me, an orphan, it was okay to dream my dream. I am still on the path she nudged me to, and pray that along the way I have returned the same kindness she taught me…us. Thank you Lord for Pat Beason, please ask Bill to give her a hug and a kiss for me and tell her I love her and miss her. Please watch over her wonderful family. In loving memory,
    Tommy Smith

  9. Boys,

  10. Out of curiosity, I was trying to find my old 6th grade teacher, who was also my favorite, and saw that she had died several years ago. I had tried to find Mrs. Beason through an online search about 1995 or so and ended up writing to every single Pat Beason that I found, writing them all notes inviting anyone who had been a teacher to call me. Mrs. Beason returned my call within days and we had a wonderful chat. She said that she was in good health and had continued to teach school long after my time with her. She made a difference in my life and I remember her and her art projects and my classmates vividly. I know this is long in coming to her caminly, but I did want you to know that Mrs, Beason is belovedly remembered by legions of her students.
