Guestbook

  1. I remember with fondness Patricia during our high-school years. She was always pleasant and greeted you with a warm caring smile. The two of us were named as ‘Most Dependable’ among the senior superlatives and she certainly deserved that title. Rest in peace, Patricia.

  2. I’m so sorry to hear about your loss. Jesus gave a fore gleam of what God’s Kingdom will do in the near future. He showed that he and his Father have the desire and the ability to resurrect our loved ones to life. (John 11:11-44) We can all look forward to the time when we will all welcome our loved ones back to life. May the God of comfort be with you in this hour of need. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4)

  3. Susan was one of two people I knew from Mrs. Jackson’s first grade class at Fairview Elementary who demonstrated great courage. The other was Linda Miller. I cannot remember Susan ever crying when she would fall.

When her parents took her to Baltimore for treatments–which I suspect were often painful–Susan would tell me about getting to visit Mount Vernon and other such places, all of which sounded very exotic to me.

Susan had an ‘Uncle Wiggily’ board game that we played when I would often visit her home on Miller Road when we were six or seven years old in the long ago and far away. I had no idea I still vividly remember playing that game with her until this morning.

    May she rest in peace.

  4. I was Ms. Knox’s lab assistant at A.C Reynolds in 1987 my senior year in high school. She was truly a caring human being with a wonderful sense of humor. I was an only child who loved old books and history we ended up talking more than anything. Thank you MS. Knox for that wonderful year. Patricia
