I am so sorry that I am out of town and unable to attend the services for Patty. She was a wonderful friend and co-worker. I will miss her smiling face and wonderful sense of humor, and her compassion for everyone she met. May light perpetual shine on her.
Mrs. Savage was my bus driver on my first day of school at Estes. She was always in a good mood, and you could never tell if she was upset. She was just that kind of person. I remember going to her telling her I lost my pencil and she replied asking me if I ate it. She never made me feel stupid, and treated me with respect, even though I was only 5. I’m 13 and in 8th grade now, but I still remember her. She will be missed. My deepest sympathies to the family. God bless you.
I am so sad to hear about Mrs. Savage’s passing. She was very special. I remember Mrs. Savage all the way back from Glen Arden when she used to work in the cafeteria and also when she was involved in Girl Scouts with me…she was always so friendly and happy, and just one of those people you always remember and look forward to seeing. She was a very special person who I’m sure touched the life of everyone she met, and I know she will be missed by her family and friends. I will be praying for all of you during this difficult time that you may find peace and comfort, and celebrate her life. God bless.
Wayne,Laura,David,Debbie,John and all extended family,
I am so sorry that that you have to go through the pain of losing your loved one so young. She is truly one of God’s Angels on earth. She has taught all of us through her strength, courage and love what faith is all about. She is one of my dear friends who will be with me always in my heart and in prayer. She will always be there watching over her loved ones.
We had so much fun being friends, working and laughing together. She has touched so many peoples’ lives from the youngest child at school to the oldest friends and newest friends. I feel so blessed to have her as a friend in my life.
I pray that the Lord will carry you through this and heal your hearts with her love, smiles, and laughter. She is only a prayer away. Talk often with her. She loves you all so very much. With love and prayers, Sharon Cooper
