Paul Russell Ingle, 72, of 109 Gary Beam Road, Kings Mountain and formerly of 12 Baker Road, Asheville, died Thursday, February 10, 2005, at his home.
A native of Buncombe County, he was a son of the late Carvel and Virgie Crawford Ingle. He was employed by Gerber from 1962 - 1989, was a US Army veteran and a member of Grace Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Clyde Ray Ingle and his wife Roxanna of Kings Mountain; a daughter, Suzette Renfro and her husband John of Burnsville; a sister, Rosalee Reeves and her husband John of Candler and a grandson, Travis Ingle.
Funeral services will be 6:00 pm Friday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. L. Wayne Adkisson officiating. Burial will be at 10:00 am Saturday at Oak Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery.
His family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.

THIS WAS INDEED A SPECIAL AND RARE MAN. MY NEPHEW, DANIEL FREELAND AND MY ENTIRE FAMILY HAVE HAD THE HONOR OF KNOWING THIS GENTLE MAN. HE WAS THERE SO MUCH FOR MY FATHER DURING HIS SICKNESS AND THE CARE AND CONCERNED HE SHOWED WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN. HE WAS NEVER TO BUSY TO STOP AND SHARE A FEW MOMENTS WITH ME. I WILL NEVER FORGET HIS HELP AND FRIENDSHIP. MAY YOUR LIFE BE AS FULL AS MINE WAS TO HAVE WALKED THIS EARTH WITH THIS MAN. MAY GOD BLESS YOUR FAMILY DURING THIS TIME. MAY HE WALK IN HEAVEN WITH THE ANGELS.

Dear Susie, Ray and Rosalie: I was very saddened to hear of Paul’s death. You know how dear he had been in our hearts, Pat, mine and our kids. We cherished the good times we shared over the years. Paul was a good and honorable man and we will miss him. I will always be greatful for the time he took to be with Pat when he visited him each Thursday for about the last year of Pat’s life. It meant much to him and he looked forward each week to his visit. This was inspite of the difficult time he was going thru after the loss of his mother. May God bless and comfort each one of you.
