Paul Trull, born June 5, 1932 in Cruso, NC to B.B. and Texie Trull, went to be with the Lord at his home surrounded by his family after an extended illness on January 9, 2022.

Paul served in the Army during the Korean conflict. He retired from American Enka Corp in 1994.

Paul is survived by his wife of 68 years, Lottie Jean Trull; two sons, Steve Trull (Pam) and Mike Trull (Kathy); two grandchildren, Ashley and Nathan; six great-grandchildren, Josie, Isaiah, Brooklyn, Addie, Kaid and Wyatt; and multiple nieces and nephews.

We wish to express gratitude to Dr. Linderman, Dr. Bacelieri, Dr. Seal, and Dr. Kuehn and staff.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dr. Stan Welch officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, consider donations to West Asheville Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society.

Paul was a quiet but giant of a man whom we loved and admired. He and Lottie blessed our souls beyond measure in the few years we lived in Enka and attended NMH. Those wonderful blessing and memories are still alive today as we give GOD the GLORY.
