Asheville ~ Paul Warren Logan, 56, of Smith Graveyard Road, died on Thursday, December 16, 2004 in the VA Medical Center. A native of Knoxville Tenn., he was the son of the late Paul Winston Logan. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and was a member of Cedar Mountain Baptist Church. He is survived by his mother, Helen Logan of Largo, FL.; wife, Jeanna Barnett Logan of Asheville; two sons, Paul Winston Logan Long of Kingsport, TN. and Paul Wesley Logan age 14, of Asheville; one brother Charles Logan of Florida and three sisters, Frances Houser, Lora Persson and Margaret Hatcher all of Florida. Graveside services will be held 12:00 P.M. on Friday, December 17, 2004 in the chapel of the WNC State Veterans Cemetery with Rev. Jim Crayton officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the home of Jack and Elaine Barnett, North Morgan Branch Road in Candler. Memorials may be made to VA Voluntary Services to benefit homeless veterans C/O VA Medical Center, U.S. Highway 70 Asheville, NC 28805.

  14. Wesley: Your friends on bus #199 were so sorry to hear about your Dad. There was a hush on the bus with thinking of you and especially our prayers.We will miss you so much and especially your sunny smile and kindness you always have shown us on the bus. I will miss your laughter at 7a!! May God wrap his tender loving arms around you with his love,peace and assurance that your Dad is sitting beside him now.
