Pauline Chandler Farmer

Pauline Jeanette Chandler Farmer, 83, of Asheville passed away on Tuesday, September 18, at Mission Hospital. Born in Madison County, she was the daughter of the late Robert Luther and Carrie Rice Chandler. She was a retired Administrative Clerk for Highland Hospital and a member of Berea Baptist Church. Mrs. Farmer is preceded in death by her first husband, Louis Robinson and her second husband, Eugene Farmer. Survivors include a daughter Mary Powers of Salem, VA; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and a brother, Billy Chandler and his wife, Nancy, of Hendersonville. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 2 pm at Berea Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 – 7:30 pm at Groce Funeral Home, Tunnel Road. The interment will be in Flat Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
