Pauline Jarrell Stroud

Pauline Jarrell Stroud, 92, of Asheville, passed away on Wednesday, July 16 2014 at J.F. Keever Solace Center. Born in Greene County, TN to the late Jackson and Edith Ragan Jarrell, she was a secretary for Square D Electronic Company. She was a member of Beverly Hills Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Glenn Henry Stroud. Survivors include son, Michael J. Stroud of Greenville, SC; daughter, Carol Bagwell (Danny), of Asheville; four grandchildren, Julie Flynn,(Warren), David R. Stroud (Kasey), Brad Bagwell (Tara) and Lori Bagwell; four great grandchildren, Aiden and Audrey Stroud and Drew and Emma Bagwell; two sisters, Ruth Murray of Mohawk, TN and Nelle Dyer of Morristown, TN. Funeral service will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Beverly Hills Baptist Church. Rev. Dr. Billy King and Rev. William Snyder will officate and burial will follow in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Beverly Hills Baptist Church, 777 Tunnel Road, Asheville, NC, 28805 or to J.F.
