Peggy Anne Davis

Peggy Anne Silver Davis, 82, passed away Saturday, December 2, 2017 at her residence. Mrs. Davis was born in Old Fort, NC to the late Virgil Pinkney Silver and Sallie Noblitt Silver. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Helen Frye and a brother, Kermit Silver. Peggy worked as a hair stylist until she retired. She was a member of Boiling Springs Baptist Church and she loved her church and her Women’s Bible Study, the “Friendship Club”. She enjoyed working puzzles and dearly loved spending time with her family, especially her kids and grandkids. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Harold Glenn Davis; a son, Keith Davis and his wife, Anita; a daughter, Denise Kuhlman and her husband, Mark; a brother, Lee Silver; three sisters, Madge Bivins, Jeanne Collier and Shirley Sierra and five grandchildren, Logan Davis and his wife, Perri, Kory Davis, Mackenzie Bajema and her husband, Andrew, Alyssa Kuhlman and Jessica Crouch and her husband, Ian. A funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 12:00 pm at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian on Long Shoals Road with Pastor Cody Sturgill officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 11:00 to 12:00 at the funeral home. Burial is scheduled for 3:30 at Cherry Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Old Fort.
