Arden ~ Phyllis Bradshaw Wilson, 75, of Clovernook Drive, died Monday, January 12, 2004 in a local hospital. A native of Haywood County, Mrs. Wilson was a daughter of the late William and Eleanor McGee Bradshaw and wife of the late Charles Theodore Wilson who died in 1989. She was also preceded in death by a son, Charles Michael Wilson who died in 1974. Mrs. Wilson worked for the admitting department of St. Joseph's Hospital for 33 years and was a member of Biltmore Baptist Church. Mrs. Wilson, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, is survived by a daughter, Brenda Gillis, and her husband Herman, of Tega Cay, SC; a son, William Mark Wilson of Arden; a daughter-in-law, Nancy Evans of Arden; three grandchildren, Jeremy Michael Wilson and his wife Deborah, of Leicester, Kelly Gillis Cutrone, and her husband John, of Ft. Mill, SC and Michael Brandon Gillis of Columbia, SC and three great-grandchildren, Greyson, Madison and Charles Haydon Cutrone. A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday at 3:00 PM at Pisgah View Memorial Park with Rev. Larry Marshall officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mission Health Care Foundation, dedicated to the John G. Coli Critical Care, 509 Biltmore Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801. Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian is in charge of arrangements.
