Rachel Virginia Fore Jones, 83, passed away Wednesday, October 03, 2018 at the St. Joseph campus in Asheville.
Mrs. Jones was born in Buncombe County to the late Joseph and Gertrude Fore. She was also preceded in death by a son Bruce Moore, a granddaughter; Stephanie Owenby and seven brothers and five sisters.
Rachel was a member of Arden Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by three children; daughter, Lillian Gee; two sons, Anthony Moore and wife, Terisa and Marvin Moore and wife, Brenda; a sister, Gloria Barnette; nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
The family will receive and gather with friends on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.
Family. I am so sorry for your loss. I love Rachel and will miss her. She was very special in my eyes. I pray that God will bless you during this time.
Love and prayers to the family. We had good times growing up around each other. Aunt Rachel and my Mom were always close. Sure miss those times but what a reunion they are having with all the family.
