Raymond Harold Stowe, 65, of Easley, SC, died Monday, June 27, 2011, at St. Francis Hospital in Greenville, SC.
A native of Buncombe Co., he was a son of the late Harold Raymond and Lethia Reid Stowe. He was also preceded in death by sisters Edith Pace and Marie Davis.
He is survived by children Larry Stowe and wife Cassie, Andy Stowe and wife Ellen, Lee Stowe and wife Shelley, Regina Kissinger and husband Karl, and step-son Billy Burgess; grandchildren Tiffany and Alissa Mashburn, Ashelyn, Macyn, and Megyn Stowe, George and Charlie Stowe, and Joel and Rachel Kissinger; and by sisters Mildred Ray and Sharon Stowe.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Green Hills Cemetery.
His family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday at Groce Funeral Home.
Flowers are appreciated, or memorials may be made to the Shriner's Childrens Hospital, 950 W. Faris Rd., Greenville, SC 29605.
