Reba H. Stevens

January 7, 1912 ~ August 21, 1999

Reba Henson Stevens, 87, formerly of Cisco Road, Asheville, died Saturday, August 21, 1999, in
Greenville, SC.

Mrs. Stevens was born in Charleston, WV, and was a lifelong resident of Asheville. She was married to Carl E. Stevens, who died September 13, 1994.

Mrs. Stevens was a
member of the Basilica of St. Lawrence where she was former President of the Altar Society and
former member and president of both the Catholic Daughters of America and the St. Joseph Hospital
Guild.

She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Cox of North Myrtle Beach, SC and Judith Burk of Greenville, SC; two sons, Thomas J. Stevens of Durham and Charles P. Stevens of Roswell, GA; a sister, Rose Bohnert of Kentucky, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial Mass will be at 12:10 pm Monday at the Basilica of St. Lawrence with the Rev. Fr.
Christopher Davis officiating. Private interment will be in Gashes Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue is in charge of the arrangements.
