Rebecca "Becca" Jean Graves Ogle, 29, of Ridgecrest was tragically taken from us in the early morning hours of Sunday, August 7, 2011, at her residence.
A native of Cumberland Co., Becca was a daughter of Charles John Graves and Julie Gilmore Smith, both of Swannanoa.
In addition to her parents, Becca is survived by her husband, John "Jon-Jon" Ogle; sons, Caleb Johnathon Graves and Cameron Ryan Wilham, both of the home; step-daughter, Alaysia Ogle, of Ridgecrest; step-mother, Becky Graves, of Swannanoa; step-father, Robert "Bob" Smith, of Swannanoa; brothers, Christopher J. Graves and wife Nicola, of Old Fort, C. Darren Graves, of Swannanoa, and J. Paul Graves, of Swannanoa; sister, Amy Gould and husband Brandon, of Hardin, MT; step-sisters, Sydney Wilson, of Marion, and Angela Smith Sajko, of Pennsylvania; step-brothers, Wesley Minish, of Morganton, and Robert Smith, II, of Kansas City, KS; nieces, Brianna, Savannah, Izzy, Alia, Kali, Laci, and Kaylee; nephews, Tyler G., Wyatt, Andrew, Tyler B., and John; and her maternal grandparents, Earl and Louise Gilmore, of Hope Mills, NC.
A funeral service for Becca will be on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. in the Tunnel Road chapel of Groce Funeral Home, with the Revs. Ronald Dodson, James Lamb, and Edwin Olson officiating. Interment will follow at Sky View Memorial Park. Members of the Swannanoa Fire Department will serve as pallbearers.
Her family will receive friends from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the family at 206 Mountain Crest Rd., Swannanoa, NC 28778 to assist with expenses.

becca u were the greatest friend person and mother, u were always there when anyone needed u, im still in shock that u wont grow old with me.we always talked about sitting in our rocking chairs talking bout the old times,now your gone. u will forever be in my heart. i love u so much girl, the angels in heaven got a wonderful person. and we all lost one.

Rebecca always made me smile. It’s so sad to have something happen to a friend that I always thought I would have around. My thoughts are with her family and her two sons, Caleb and Cameron, during this hard time. Strength, love and hope be with all of you.
To the Graves Family, I met Becca through her friend Sarah and my son Zach. I’m so sorry for your loss. She was a wonderful person and friend and will truly be missed. My prayers are with you for strength comfrot and peace.

My Beautiful Cousin Becca- As kids, we were close. As adults we grew apart. We thought about you and the kids all the time. I am so sorry this had to happen to you. You will always be missed and I hope you are in a peaceful place and we will see you again one day.
