Rene Hendershot Nowak, 61, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at her home with her son beside her.

A native of Kokomo, IN, Rene was the daughter of the late Bill and Anita Hickman Hendershot. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald Andrew Nowak.

Mrs. Nowak worked for many years at George’s Deli.

She is survived by her son, Randy Nowak (Tammy); granddaughter, Ariana Nowak; brothers, Bill Hendershot (Crystal), of South Carolina, and Paul Hendershot (Angie), of Tennessee; and several other loved family members.

Rene you was a great friend of my grandmother Kathy 40 years ago she saved my mommas life she had got hurt playing and had to go to the hospital and my papa was at work but Rene was there for my nanny and I never knew here but I talked to her and she was a very sweet and lovely lady that will be missed dearly im sending my love to her son randy ❤ and the rest of her family 🥺❤
