Reva Mae Angel

Reva Mae Israel Angel, 89, of Leicester, died Thursday, January 4, 2007, at Emerald Ridge Health Care. Mrs. Angel was a daughter of the late Robert Sam and Nellie Carver Israel. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Homer R. Angel, who died in 1994. Mrs. Angel was an operator and owner of a janitorial service. She was a member of South Turkey Creek Baptist Church. Mrs. Angel is survived by daughters, Wanda Angel and husband Richard, of Franklin, and Bobbie Hudgins and husband Gary, of Leicester; sister Sue Miller, of Greenville, SC; brother Gay Israel and wife Shirley, of Leicester; grandchildren, David Angel, Jennifer Chandler, and Suzanne Russell; and great grandchildren, Christina Marie Angel, Cori Lynn Angel, Brianna Billiot, Hunter Angel, Coty Chandler, and Alyssa Faith Russell. A funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Groce Funeral Home chapel on Patton Ave. with the Rev. Woodfin Hudson officiating. Interment will follow at Newfound Baptist Church Cemetery, beside her husband. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
