Reverend Steven Lee Caldwell

Reverend Steven Lee Caldwell, 55, of McDonald Road, Arden, died Tuesday, December 18, 2001, at a local hospital. A native of Buncombe County, he was a son of the late Rev. Willard S. and Decie McHone Caldwell. He was assistant pastor at Full Gospel Mission Church and worked as a dye press operator at Custom Packaging. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Charles W. Caldwell and Robert D. Caldwell. Survivors include his wife, Karen English Caldwell; a son, Bryan Steven Caldwell of Arden and three sisters, Jamie Myers, Pat Clontz and Willie McHone all of Asheville. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Friday in the Patton Avenue Chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Revs. Homer Moore and Henry Belcher officiating. Burial will follow at Pisgah View Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00-8:30 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
