Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Ricky was a kind, friendly and hard working person, hired him at Advance Auto Parts, very hard worker and would help anyone. He will be sorely missed and greatly remembered.

  2. Rick was a great person. Would have loved to see him after Square D. Good fisherman too. Kept us supplied with catfish.

  3. So sorry to hear about Ricky’s passing. He was a good man who was highly respected as a member of the Square D Family here in Asheville. I always enjoyed chatting with him and hearing about some of his fishing expeditions! My condolences to his siblings, family, and friends during this difficult time, Ricky will be missed.

  4. Ricky was a kind and gentle soul. I’m happy that I got to know him over the past several years while he was working at Advance. The cool weather today made me think of him.. Every time the weather would cool down I’d say it’s almost chili weather Ricky.. He’d always laugh and say just about.. Rest easy my friend. Us at the City of Asheville already miss you.

  5. Praying for you all.I worked with his mother at Kmart on Patton Avenue. I met Richard there.Clare Stevens.

  6. There are no words to express what Ricky means to our family. For over 50 years he has been a wonderful friend and even better fishing buddy!! He is greatly loved and will be greatly missed.

  7. I had known Rick since I was a teenager. I was taking machine shop at AB Tech and we had a welding class together. Stan Sluder put us together since we knew each other. We had a great time. He was always so sweet and soft spoken. Will really miss him

  8. Larry and I were so very sorry to hear about Ricky. He was a really nice guy who was a good friend to Larry over the years. When we were younger he was at our home a lot working on cars with Larry. He will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you.
