Dear Bob’s family,
I am so sorry to learn about Bob’s passing. My condolences to his family. He was a fine man & it was a pleasure getting to know him & Jean. I first became acquainted with Bob many years ago when I was a nurse to his in-laws, the Battles, who both were my residents at Aston Park HCC. He was always so friendly & the perfect gentleman. I know how sad it is to lose a parent & especially during the Christmas season but know that he will be celebrating his first Christmas up in Heaven with all those gone on before him. Cherish your memories. Again my sympathy to his family.
Philip and Fisher family, I am so sorry for your loss! I worked with Mr Fisher at the Holiday Inn many years ago and he was always the nicest man! He always had a smile on his face and I feel sure he’s smiling now! Praying for your family!
You are in my prayers. Bob was such a funny and sweet man. He could always make me smile and laugh. Especially when he talked about his precious Maggie and Muffin. He loved his family so much. He will be greatly missed.
We are sorry to hear about Mr. Fisher’s passing. He was a fine man and always such a gentleman! We will keep the family in our prayers.
Dear Fisher Family, our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Mike & Joan Macalka
Bob was a dear friend who loved his Lord and savior, then his wife ! He was a member of west Asheville Baptist. He was a good person , we talked a lot about our Lord , and he was friends with my cousin Audrey Neighbors we be missed but we will see each other in a little while.
Truly one of the finest men I have ever known! My memory bank is full of wonderful times at West Asheville Baptist Church around Bob and his family…and who could forget all the great times on the softball fields! Bob was many things…first and foremost a gentleman and a faithful servant of the Lord…but he was also a friend and example of steadfast consistency. As I have grown older, I realize how blessed I was to grow up in church surrounded by men like Bob Fisher, Jim Shetley, George Dowdle, Bob Garren, Donnie Ball and Jim Johnson. I’m confident that Bob has been reunited with sweet Kim, and they are waiting on those of us who are still here to join them. My Mom (Shirley) and I offer our prayers and most sincere condolences to Mike, Philip and all the family. ✝️❤️✝️
I always loved getting to see Mr Bob at the funeral home. What a wonderful man with a smile as big as his heart. I was so thrilled when I learned that he was Mike and Phillip’s Daddy. You are such a wonderful family, and my prayers and thoughts are with you during this time of great loss.

My sincere sympathy goes to Jean and all the family. Bob was the essential key to the successful operation of the Comfort Inn in Canton when my late husband Ken Wilson opened the hotel. His pleasant and positive outlook on life was inspiring and contagious. He will be missed and remembered fondly by many.
Today our faithful and kind cousin,Bobby, will be celebrated for his life well lived. We so loved him and wished we all could have had more time with him. Jesus said it’s time and invited him home. Many in heaven are enjoying his company and rejoicing. Our hope is to rejoice with you when He calls us home. Love you all and praying for God’s peace.
Jean and family we were so sorry to hear about Bobs passing. We have many good memories of the Fisher family when we went to West Asheville Baptist. I know he will be missed by many. We will be praying for your family in the days ahead.
