  1. Leesa and Family,

Our deepest thoughts and prayers our with you all during this most difficult time. To endure the tragedies that you have been through recently are burdens that no human being should have to go through. We can only hope that Butch is finally shed of the demons that have plagued him for the last few years. Keep your Faith in God…why these things happen, only He knows, but there is a reason. May God Bless Butch and his entire family. You know that we love you and are here for you, and if you need anything at all, please do not hesitate to call.

  2. Butch and I were roomates in the late 70’s in Raleigh. I heard of His passing from a mutual friend. My prayers are with your family during this time of sorrow. He will be missed.

  3. You will never know how very sorry I was to hear of Butch’s passing. Butch was like a son to me and I loved him dearly. He will be terribly missed by this whole family.

  4. Butch was a great guy and a close late-childhood (and both of us sometimes all too adolescent) friend. We mostly lost contact after high school, though I enjoyed tracking him down and seeing him at my 50TH birthday party (he had not changed in 30 years). I am very saddened by this news of his passing. My prayers for and fond reminiscences about Butch are coming forth.

I would love to talk to Bobbie, my number is 230-0077.

  5. Leesa, so sorry to read about Butch, know you were very close with him as brothers and sisters can be. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, if we can do anything, please let us know. God’s blessings to all.

  6. Growing up on Robindale With you, Warren,Brian, and Timmy Haines will always be fond memories for me. Glad to have known you, Butch. Rest in peace.

  7. I am another high school era friend of Butch’s and one who is very sorry to learn about his untimely passing. Butch was a great guy, a good friend, and someone whom I regret having lost contact with.

  8. Dear Leesa, Debbie & Bobbie,

I was in the process of searching for my parents gravesite’s when I came upon Butch’s obit. I was shocked to find out he had passed away! I believe the last time I saw him was after my mom passed in 1992 which was the last time I’ve seen any of you. Of course it doesn’t help living in Alaska. Anyway I am sorry to hear Butch passed away at such a young age and I grieve with you. I still remember all the good times we had playing as kids back in 50’s & 60’s. My prayers are with you all.

Love from your cousin in Alaska,

    Dave

  9. I was looking for Butch on the computer in hopes of contacting him after all these years, when I came across his obituary. To say the least I am heart broken at the news of his passing. I loved Butch as a brother we were friends in the Navy in VP-45 at N.A.S. Jacksonville FL. and we rented together in Jacksonville, we also roomed together in SiGONELLA SICILY while on deployment. Butch was a great friend of mine and I will alway remember him. With condolences JEFFERY B. CANTRELL 09/05/10
