Robert David Mortier

Robert David Mortier, 64, of Arden, died Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at his residence. A native of Buncombe County, he was a son of the late Richard and Patricia Mortier. He was also preceded in death by one brother, George "Richard" Brady. He is survived by two daughters, Olivia Mortier of Hendersonville and Leslie Mortier-Thacker of MI; one son, Travis Mortier and his fiancée, Tiffany of Fairview; one sister, Tina Mortier of MI; one brother, Donald Mortier of GA, as well as seven grandchildren, Burgindee, Kirkland, Chloe, Gavin, Greyson , Gracie and Alexia and many loving nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 PM on Friday, May 12 in the Chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian with Pastor Randy Wood officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service.
