Guestbook

  1. I am so saddened to hear about my old friend “Mr. Robert” as we so fondly called him at Sand Hill Venable Elementary. Mr Robert was a hard worker always smiling and joking. He called me “Cuz” as he said he was related to my late husband, Les Clark, on his mother’s side. He was a good man. I will never forget his laugh and his eagerness to sing the Friday song to our staff and students. “Today is Friday all day long….” Rest in peace Mr Robert.

  2. Gail and Brenda, I am sorry to hear about cousin Robert passing. Gail I was here thinking how since you and he was closer to moms age that it was more like Uncle Robert and Aunt Gail. I told our local church here in Andrews Texas this morning when I requested prayer for you all that as long as I can remember he was preaching on the radio. I remember hearing all the Watts side and dad praying in the altar at homecoming time when most everybody gathered back at Open Bible. Then all of us younger cousins playing together while the ladies was getting the food on the table. I can almost smell Fried Chicken right now. May God be with you all in this great time of need. We love you all.

  3. Gail and Brenda. We are very saddened to hear of Robert’s death. We have missed having Him visit us here at our home. We will always remember his faithfulness to God, his testimony, his shouting, his singing and his laugh. He was always an inspiration and encouragement to our family. May God’s Grace be abundantly yours during this time of grief. God Bless You, David and Eva Glenn and Martha Glenn Hill.

  4. May God comfort your hearts at this time. We are praying for the family.

His message was titled “Hollywood in the Church”. I was a new to the faith but I understood his message clearly and still agree with it today. Thank the Lord for preachers like Bro. Now He is enjoying His reward. For Our Veterans we say THANK YOU!!! Love You All. May the Peace of God comfort You.

  51. Extend my sympathy to the family. I knew Robert when he served as a custodian at Sandhill Venable while I was teaching third grade. I heard of his death today and immediately thought of the many times we would sing a hymn or gospel song in the halls if we ran into each other. I would start a song and he would join in singing with me with a convincing smile about what we were singing. Then sometimes he would start and I would harmonize with him. That’s how I choose to remember him today. He is really singing now!

  52. Gail and Family, So sorry to hear of Roberts passing. Thinking of him and Ralph together again brings a smile. You all are in our prayers.

  53. I really Loved him and loved to hear him preach and loved his wife they were great people miss him, and Gail you take care of yourself, so sorry for your loss!
