Bakersville ~ Robert Lynn Walker, 55 of McKinney Cove Road, Bakersville, NC passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2011. He was born in Miami, Florida and was the son of Dorothy Avinger Miller and the late Joseph Bearden Walker. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his Fiancée, Karen Street of Bakersville, daughter, Candia Walker of Vero Beach, FL; three grandchildren; two sisters, Janet Schanzle of DeLand, Fl and Sharyle Lewis of The Villages, Fl; three brothers, Joe Walker of The Villages, Fl, Don Walker of DeLand, Fl and John Walker, Sevierville, TN. Groce Funeral Home East Asheville on Tunnel Road is in charge of arrangements.
