Roberta Ann Parker Taylor, 76, of Candler, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at Mission Hospital.

A native of Buncombe Co., Roberta was a daughter of the late William Porter Parker and Grace Louise McKinney Longmire. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas Taylor, Sr.

Surviving is her daughter, Kelly Graham (Scott); sons, William Thomas Taylor, Jr. (Sherri) and Daniel Aldon Taylor (April); grandchildren, Aaron Taylor (Catherine), Joseph Taylor (Sydney), Emily Taylor, Alex Taylor, Hunter Graham (Serena), and arriving soon “Mamaw’s baby”, Paisley Mae; sister, Katherine Berner (Jim); and brother, Gary Parker (Yolanda).

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, November 22 at Words of Life Tabernacle in Arden. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 11:00 a.m.

Private burial will be held at Pisgah View Memorial Park.

Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue is assisting the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Words of Life Tabernacle Church for Disaster Relief, 815 Glenn Bridge Rd., Arden, NC 28704.
