  10. RONNIE

We watched you weak, but we had hope
We stood beside you and we moped

We cried and cried, more than ever
And trust us when we say our memories we’ll treasure

We knew that you were always there
But this one thing, it’s just not fair

We loved how you made our mom ecstatic
When we heard the new, it was a day overly dramatic

We’ll all remember how you used to make us laugh
But now it’s been 4 days and a half

Us kids, Daylan, Brandon, Haley, Kari and Katlin, we know you loved us all
But we don’t understand why you had to take the fall

Everyone wishes you could have pulled through
When it first started not one person knew

God is going to take very good care of you and make sure you have everything you need
While you are in Heaven, you will not thirst, starve or even feel grief

And Madison, we’ll make sure she knows everything she wants to know
And we’ll tell her how much you loved to watch that Star Trek show

We have told everyone we know that you haven’t been gone long
And they tell us we have got to be strong

We want you to know you’ll be missed a ton
We want you to know with you we always had fun

No one knew it was your time to go
We loved you and just wanted to let you know

    Kari Jellema and Katlin Carithers

  12. Cheryl,

I am so very sorry to hear about Ronnie’s passing. I never got to meet him but through the conversations I had with you when I was at OSI, I know he was a great husband and soul mate for you. At times like this, there are no words that can take away the pain and hurt but please know I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Cheryl just realize, this is not a final ‘goodbye’, it’s just ‘so long’ for a season until you guys are re-united again in heaven. Look to the Lord in the coming days, weeks and months and he will strengthen you.
