R. P. Jack LeBeau, 94, of Arden, died Friday, August 17, 2012 at Crescent View Assisted Living Center.
A native of Bristol, CT, Jack was a son of the late Arthur and Agnes Chagnom LeBeau. Jack was also preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Helen LeBeau and a son, Russell LeBeau.
He served in the US Army as a Captain during WWII. Jack was also a member of St. Barnabas Roman Catholic Church where he was a 4th Degree Knight.
He is survived by a daughter, Susan Jane Reith and her husband, Herb, of Asheville; one son, Roland "Jack" LeBeau, Jr. and his wife, Diane, of Arden as well as four grandchildren, Michael, Jimmy and Lauren LeBeau and Jennifer Trometer.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at St. Barnabas Roman Catholic Church with Father Adrian Porras officiating. The graveside service will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Candler.
The family will receive friends at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian from 6-8:00 PM on Monday, August 20, 2012 with a rosary service at 7:00 PM.
The family graciously asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made in Jack's memory to St. Barnabas Roman Catholic Church, 109 Crescent Hill Drive, Arden, NC 28704.
Pépère was a very special man who will be greatly missed. I pray that your family will be embraced by God’s love and peace. Pépère and Mémére were truly wonderful people.

I worked with Jack many years and he was always professional in all of his contacts both personal and professional during his tenure as a senior sales and management person. Jack touched many people during his career. Jack will be missed by many.
