Ruby Banks Johnson

Ruby Dean Banks Johnson, 74, passed away Monday, October 5, 2015 at the Brian Center in Hendersonville. Mrs. Johnson was born in Buncombe County to the late Welzy Erving Banks and Beulah Thompson Banks. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Eugene Johsnon; a brother, Royce Banks and a daughter, Sonja Johnson. She is survived by her three daughters, Lisa Johnson, Darla Hefner and her husband, Van and Melinda Uylaki and her husband, Tommy; three sisters, Leona Pace, Joyce Smith and Faye Fender and her husband, Ted, and 17 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Words of Life Tabernacle Cemetery, 815 Glenn Bridge Road, Arden, NC 28704 with Pastor David Grindstaff officiating.
