Ruby Jones Earp

A native of Lyman, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Lillie Mae Morgan Jones and Baxter Earl Jones, and wife of the late Cecil Earp, Sr.

She was a member of the Oteen Methodist Church.

She is survived by a son, Cecil Earp, Jr. and wife, Marlene of Asheville, a daughter, Donna Prince and husband Cam of Augusta, Georgia; a brother Elbert Jones of Asheville, and a sister, Helen Cross of Asheville; two grandchildren, Michael Earp and Scott Prince.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, at 1:30 pm at the chapel of Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue.  Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 8 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
