Ruby Navina Pace

Asheville ~ Ruby Navina Worden Pace, 92, of the Deerfield Retirement Community, died Sunday, March 25, 2001.

A native of Waco, Texas, she was the daughter of the late John Henry and Mary Ann Gibbs Worden and wife of the late Garland Brown Pace, who died in 1983. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, June Lee Pace Bower, who died in 1965.

Mrs. Pace was a former resident of Naples and Sebring, Florida. She was an avid button collector and a member of the National Button Association and of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by a daughter and her husband, Mary Viola and William E. Alldredge of Lake Lure, NC; three grandchildren, Andrew Pace Alldredge, Garland Pace Alldredge and William Mark Bower; five great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian is assisting the family.
