  1. Especially for Joan:
Your mom was very sweet and special. I enjoyed the short time I got to spend with her. She talked about all of the family with love & affection. And she especially loved your husband’s soups!
I’ll always think of her fondly,
    Donna

  2. Stan, Steve, and Joan,

    Betsy

  3. Dear Stan, Steve,and Joan,
My deepest sympathy at your mother’s passing..I have many fond memories of ‘get-togethers’ with all of you. She was a very special lady!

  4. We send our deepest sympathies to our family. Joan, Stan, and Steven, we are so sorry for the loss and may the Lord bless our family with great memories of sweet Grandma Cooper. I will always remember her and her loving and caring ways of always making sure everything was so clean and perfect when we came to visit. She will be missed and was appreciated by so many people.

  5. I was sorry to learn of Ruth’s passing. We were members together of the Weatherford Chapter of YMCA Retirees that meet every fall at Blue Ridge Assembly in Black Mountain. Ruth’s husband David and my father, Roy Cotten, were colleagues in the YMCA’s Central Atlantic Area Staff in Newark, NJ and later in Princeton, NY and Ambler, Pa. I also became a YMCA profesional for 36 years and in my early years got a number of very encouraging notes from him. My mother, Peg Cotten often corresponded with Ruth as they had become friends in New Jersey. She was a very sweet person and I enjoyed talking with her at Blue Ridge when she was able to attend.

My Sincerest sympathy in your loss and may God bless your many memories.

    Dave Cotten
