Sally Katheryn "Kathy" Morgan, 69, of Candler, died Thursday, July 24, 2014, at her home.
A native of Haywood Co., she was a daughter of the late Orville William and Carleen Cody Rathbone.
Mrs. Morgan was a member of Piney Mountain United Methodist Church. She worked for Hillhaven Rehab Center in Asheville.
She is survived by her husband, Arnold Morgan; two daughters, Angie Morgan of Candler, and Cynthia Freck and husband Mike Freck of Fletcher; five grandchildren, Anthony Stamey, Lisa Stamey, Michael Freck, Jr., Ashley Padgett, and Tyler Padgett; one great-grandson, Mason Pilkington; and two sisters, Regina Meadows and Evelyn Meadows, both of Candler.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Piney Mountain United Methodist Church, with the Revs. H.D. Houck and Jessica Dayson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. on Monday at Groce Funeral Home, Patton Ave.
