Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. We will always remember Uncle Sam as a very giving & talented man in his trade. We mostly remember his humor. You could be crying, & he’d have you laughing in no time. He stayed with us for a few years, & we were raising our 2 children. They were always playing jokes on him. Chuck was closer to him than a Brother. He was my Uncle by marriage, but as far as I was concerned, he was my Uncle as if we were blood related. Rest in peace Uncle Sam. You are sadly missed. God rest your soul, & we love you. All our love, Chuck & Sandy Vancheri

  2. We will never forget you, Uncle Sam. We know we played a lot of pranks on you when you stayed with us, & we enjoyed every minute. We’ll never forget the delicious pizza you would make us. It was the best. We have many memories, & they will forever remain in our hearts. God rest your soul. All our love, Lisa, A.J.,Brooke & Tyler Richeal and Chaz Vancheri

  4. Mista Sam, PaPa, Tureddo,
Those are the names that I called Sam over the many years that we were together. He was as much a part of my life as any member of my family, and was as much a friend to me as my own father. I’ve missed him so much since he has been in NC, but now I’ll miss him more and look forward to the time I’ll spend with him in heaven. Save a place for me PaPa. I know that they are rejoiceing up there today. I love you Sam!! Thanks for all that you ever did for me.

  5. Dear Sam,
You carved a special niche on this planet and into the lives, hearts, minds and memories of so many people. Little did you know how much you affected me, even when I was a child, then for the rest of my life, with your constant kindness, your wit, your resepct for everything and everyone, and that amazing sense of humor.

I want to touch your face. I want to see those eyes glisten with a hint of mischief and a cigarette with an impossible ash dangling so close to its demise and too close to your skin.

So strange to see your name as Salvatore. You were always Sam, Sammy or Tureddo to all of us. And you were always a joy. You made my life richer in so many ways. Thank you, my friend, for being who you were and the way you were. For making us never forget that no matter how bad things could be, there was always time for a laugh.

    Ciao, bello.
