Asheville Butterfly Trail“Shirley” Sandra Warren Parker, 87, of Candler, passed away Sunday, August 10, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Stella Jane Moore Warren, father, Sam Warren, and her beloved husband, Gerald Parker.
She is survived by her sister, Nancy Warren Baldwin; two daughters, Sandra Flynn Banks (Glenn) of Leicester and Ann
Flynn Carver (Randy) of Candler; her grandchildren, Jeff Carver (Lawanda), Joshua Case, Jessica Case and Hali
Dockery (Brandon); and six great grandsons.
Shirley worked and retired from the Enka Plant. She deeply loved her daughters, grandsons and great-grandsons. She loved working in her Day Lily’s and watching her hummingbirds.
“My mother never knew a stranger and was loved by many. You were the best Momma and Nanny in the world. I love you, I miss you so and I will see you again”, Sandy.
At her request there are no services planned.
