Sara Allene Moore Fox, 83, formerly of 19 Langwell Avenue, Asheville, died Monday, September 9, 2002, at the Brian Center, Weaverville.
Mrs. Fox was born in Anderson, SC, and was a daughter of the late Homer and Lizzy Mae Loftis Moore. She was married to Cyrus Fox who died in 1993. She was a former member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Stanley Rice of Asheville; a granddaughter Lindsey Rice of Asheville, a sister Betty Lowe of Atlanta and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral home with the Rev. Jerry Young officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
Her family will receive friends from 7 - 8:30 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
