Arden ~ Scott Kevin Gasperson of Plott Place Arden, died on Friday, August 24, 2007 at his residence.
He was born in Buncombe County and was the son of the late Junior Grady Gasperson and Hazel Lewis Gasperson and was preceded in death by two brothers, Phillip and Robert Brown. Scott was a 1975 graduate of T.C. Roberson High School and was an optician with Vision Works of Asheville.
He is survived by his wife of ten years, Janice Setzer Gasperson of Arden; four daughters, Dawana Hudson of Fletcher, Chanda Morgan of Canton, Tanya Dunn and Kelly Pee both of Arden; four grandchildren, B J Burleson, Andrew Hudson, Jackson Morgan and Avery Dunn.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian on Long Shoals Road with the Rev. Cecil Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in New Salem Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 P.M. on Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service.
